Tending the Wild Within: A Six-Month Journey with Medicinal Plants & Embodied Care

$1,000.00

November 1, December 6, January 3, February 7, March 7, April 4: 2025-2026
From 10am to 3pm on Saturdays

This course is an invitation to slow down as autumn begins and savor the gifts of the cooler months. Good self care and a supportive community during the darker time of the year can be invaluable in seeing life as a gift even amidst difficulty.

We will gather over the course of six months to explore health as something we cultivate in relationship with the land, within our bodies and within community.

Each session will include sensory ways to engage with the land and deepen our understanding of plants and how they are supportive to health and healing.

Self care practices of this course include:

  • making and sampling a variety of supportive herbal blends to work with in class and take home between sessions to provide deeper support

  • guided time in nature

  • simple fire ceremony and intention setting

  • guided journaling excercises to deepen how individual plants work in our systems and foster connections with nature

  • pranayama breathwork

The goal of the class is to foster a space to nourish and support health individually and collectively.

This class includes nourishing herbal preparations that students take home to work with between each class. These offerings might include:

  • mineral rich infusions

  • a variety of adaptogenic blends

  • teas and preparations to promote nervous system support

  • lymph moving blends

  • digestive aid blends

  • seaweed for soaking

  • herbs to ease tension and promote good sleep

Blends we will work with are designed to build deeper relationship with the plants and be supportive through the seasons.
